In MEMORIAM: William Rankin Bruce Jr.
William R. Bruce, Jr., 77, passed away on Feb. 7, 2025, at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center. Billy graduated from the Citadel with a degree in Political Science. In addition to service in the National Guard, he attended Lloyd's of London School for Overseas Students. Billy spent many years in the p&c insurance industry. He was the grandson of Seibels Bruce Company co-founder and his father served as President from 1966 to 1986. He was Vice President of Field Operations when he retired in 1991. Seibels Bruce Company was one of the largest property and casualty carriers in South Carolina, based in Columbia, SC. Memorials can be made to Church of the Ascension or The Citadel Military College. You may also make a memorial to the IIABSC Foundation, and his family will be notified. (+ More...)

IIABSC member renewal payments are now due. We have started the cancellation process for nonpayment. Please let us know asap if you intend to renew but have not yet paid your dues. Anyone with the proper permissions can verify their dues payments have been received and/or retrieve their renewal invoice using our Member InfoHub. Payments can be made by mailing in a check or by making an online payment using the url link on your invoice. View our dues payment policies.
