Congratulations to Ashley Brady of First Charter Company Inc in Marion, SC, who was honored with the national Sydney O. Smith award earlier this month while representing South Carolina independent agents at the IIABA Legislative Conference. This award goes to a Big “I" member who has shown outstanding legislative involvement and advocacy for the past year on behalf of independent agents. It's a way of honoring someone who has displayed true leadership, who rolls up their sleeves and goes to bat for the community and businesses in the area of government affairs. Study hailed most comprehensive of independent agency system
The Agency Universe Study is the most comprehensive analysis of the independent insurance agency system. Conducted every two years, the report is broad in scope addressing agency revenues, specialization, carrier relationships, carrier representation, marketing, technology, perpetuation and more. In 2024, the key objectives will be to benchmark significant changes in the independent agency system over time and provide insight into emerging issues. To conduct the study and ensure the quality and confidentiality of the data, the Big “I" has retained Zeldis Research Associates, an independent market research firm and we need help from you, our Big “I" member, with participation in completing the survey.
