IIABSC Chair Tonya Thomason has issued the following announcement on behalf of the IIABSC Board of Directors:

Russ Dubisky, who joined IIABSC in January as Executive Vice President and was set to step into the role of President/CEO later this year, has accepted an offer to become President/CEO of the SC Coalition for Lawsuit Reform (CLR).

Russ expressed his regret at leaving IIABSC during a period of exciting growth but shared that leading the CLR is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity he couldn't turn down. We thank Russ for his contributions and wish him success in his new role. His deep commitment to tort reform in South Carolina led him to pursue this new opportunity.

Chair Thomason has announced that Becky McCormack, CPCU, CIC, AAI, AINS, IIABSC Senior Vice President, will be promoted to President/CEO effective January 1, 2025. Becky has been with the South Carolina Big “I” since 1996 and brings extensive knowledge and experience to her new position.​
