Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina (IIABSC) is pleased to announce that Russ Dubisky will join the staff on January 1, 2024 and serve as Executive Vice President until transitioning to President/CEO in 2025.

Russ has been  Executive Director of the South Carolina Insurance Association since 2010 and represents property and casualty insurance companies that do business in the state.

Previously, Russ worked for State Farm as an External Relations Specialist in the Public Affairs Department and was Deputy Director with the Insurance Federation of North Carolina, another insurance trade association, where he served as a lobbyist.

Russ grew up in Florida, went to school in North Carolina and graduated from NC State with a BA in political science.
