Jon Jensen was installed as the new chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII) on April 2, 2019 at their annual meeting in Rome, Italy. Jensen, currently Chairman-elect of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), is the first officer from IIABA to chair WFII.

WFII was created to promote the increasingly vital role of insurance intermediaries in todays economy, providing a powerful voice to advance their interests, to provide innovative solutions at international level. WFII members include IIABA and The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers and come from North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific Rim.

WFII represents the interests of intermediaries with international institutions and works to deepen the understanding of the role played by insurance brokers and agents in global commerce.

Jensen is the Chief Executive Officer for Correll Insurance Group that has locations throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. He will be installed as the Chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America in September 2019.
