The Big I New York recently made considerable updates to their NY Cybersecurity Regulation webpage to enhance its ease of use. 

• A special password is no longer required for out of state members to access filing instructions, SC members may use their IIABSC website member logins. 
  
  
• Filing instructions and full "Cybersecurity Compliance Bundle" may be downloaded in a zip file containing all the documents you need.
  
  
• The next deadline is NEXT WEEK:  Agents doing business in NY State must file annual certification of compliance AND re-file any exemptions filed previously.
  
  
• See also newly  recorded webinar on the Third-Party Service Provider Provision effective March 1, 2019.  This webinar discusses how a convered entity needs to comply as well as how an out-of-state agency not licensed by the NY Dept.
