Effective May 1, 2017, the anniversary rating date (ARD) rule will be eliminated from all workers compensation policies. NCCI filed this rule change in every state – and all states, except California, have approved the change.

At least one insurance carrier has sent a separate notice to agents regarding this change – NCCI does not expect the rule change to affect many policies.
