​Hurricane season is here and the SC Dept. of Insurance encourages all residents to review their insurance policies and plan now for what may lie ahead this storm season. To help, the Department is hosting the annual coastal property information session and hearing on the status of the coastal property insurance market on Weds., June 27, from 6:00 -7:30 p.m.  The session and hearing will be held in the Old Train Depot, located at 851 Broadway Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

This yearly event provides residents of the Palmetto State an opportunity to meet with staff and experts to learn more about the coastal property insurance market, ways to save money on their insurance costs and get answers to their insurance questions.
