CIC offers practical and relevant knowledge to keep professionals more competitive in meeting the changing needs of clients and the industry.
This designation is recommended for:
- Licensed agents, brokers and adjusters
- Insurance professionals with at least two(2) years insurance or risk management experience
Why become a CIC?
- CIC's earn 30% more on average than their undesignated counterparts
- More knowledge increases your value to your clients leading to higher retention levels in the agency
To earn the CIC designation, participants attend five institutes (list below with course descriptions) and pass a closed-book exam after each.
To maintain the designation, participants must annually attend at least one program sanctioned by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. No testing is required to maintain the designation.
All CIC exams are administered ONLINE during an "exam window" the week following the CIC Institute. Exams will no longer be taken in class at the conclusion of the institute - LEARN MORE
